HTC California: High Performance Winter Season 2026
High Performance requires a tryout and invitation in order to participate. This is a year round commitment that requires weekday and weekend training.
Weekday training takes place at The Bishop’s School on Mondays and Wednesdays. Weekend training takes place on Saturdays and Sundays at the Training Center in Chula Vista on the astroturf or at The Bishop’s School on field turf.
Weekends we are also traveling to tournaments within the state of California and nationally outside of the state of California.

Set payment plans are available for both options. If you need an individual payment plan setup please reach out to Mika Black, the HTC CA Regional Director at mikablack16@gmail.com. All training fees are separate from tournament fees.
What tournaments should I be putting on the calendar and expect to attend each year?

*College tournaments (UC Davis, Cal Berkeley, Stanford) – Not mandatory to attend all three, but we would like the effort to at least attend 1-2. We understand there are multiple individual recruiting conflicts on the east coast that may take place on similar weekends and/or academic testing.

- NFHCA Winter Escape Showcase – January MLK weekend each year – Sanford, Florida

- Cal Berkeley 6v6 March 7-8, 2026 – Berkeley, CA
- Stanford Hockey 6’s April weekend TBD – Stanford, CA
- USA Field Hockey Regional Club Championship (RCC) May TBD (Most likely May 2-3 for all age groups U14/U16/U19) – Location TBD
- Cal Cup May 23-25 – Moorpark, CA
- USA Field Hockey National Club Championship June TBD – Virginia Beach, VA (Qualification event from Regional Club Championship)
Practice Pinnie – We require all players to purchase an HTC training pinnie. Players can purchase this pinnie with our uniform package. We will send this out soon as we follow specific ordering windows.
Uniforms – Every High Performance player MUST have a complete uniform set from Capelli.
