HTC Academy – Winter Season 2023/2024
Welcome to the HTC Winter Academy !
We are excited to announce our HTC Academy Program for the Winter!
Our Academy program offers our players the opportunity to practice two times a week. During the winter season, players will practice hard court skills on one day and then turf skills on another day.
Players will have the following 5 choices for Academy this winter season;
- Tolland Hard Court Training Wednesdays 6p-8p & Tolland Turf Skill Training Tuesdays 5p-7p
- Tolland Hard Court Training Wednesdays 6p-8p & Glastonbury Turf Skill Training Saturdays 10a-12p
- Madison Hard Court Training Saturdays 4p-6p & North Branford Turf Skill Training Sundays 12p-2p
- Simsbury Hardcourt Training Mondays 6p-8p & Windsor Turf Skill Training Fridays 6p-8p/Wednesdays 5p-6:30p
- Smith College Hardcourt Training Saturdays 9a-11a & Windsor Turf Skill Training Fridays 6p-8p/Wednesdays 5p-6:30p
The HTC Winter Academy Program will be a great opportunity for players to attend practices twice per week and play in tournaments as a TEAM. Players will be taught top level skills and play in local scrimmages and tournaments to improve and enhance their game. Players will learn both the indoor hockey game as well as the outdoor hockey game. It is a great way to be involved with both sports and to compete in tournaments with your team.
This will be an intense and competitive Winter program! This program will be designed for U14, U16, and U19 players.

Academy Membership Fee
Membership Fee varies depending on your chosen site.
Uniform Fee – There is a one time fee to purchase our required HTC Uniform Kit. Players can purchase their uniform and practice pinney by clicking on the STORE TAB on the HTC website. The uniform and practice pinney will be brought to practice.
Field Players – This is a HTC uniform which includes a white and blue Jersey, a black kilt, practice pinney, and royal/white socks.
Goalkeepers – This includes a Practice and Game Goalkeeper Jersey and Black shorts.
All club members who do not already have this uniform are required to purchase prior to our first practice.
Tournament Opportunities
Academy Players will have the following Tournaments to choose from this Winter Season. There is a separate registration for each tournament, check out the tournament tab for all the details and to register for any tournament that fits your schedule.
